KiwiCo Tinker Crate – Glowing Pendulum | Review

Another month, another cool box from KiwiCo. This time, for our fourth KiwiCo Tinker Crate, Kai and I worked together to build an absolutely amazing Glowing Pendulum. It’s a far cry from the previous boxes, which had us build Spin Art Machines, Walking Robots as well as a functional Crane and Pulley, but the clever application of science to create a fun plaything carries through. Also included were a few challenges and related facts through the TinkerZine that comes with each box.

Bring the movie to life with PAW Patrol The Movie: Adventure City Calls

[Ad- gifted product] Our household is full of gamers. With both Dann and I working full time in the video game industry, we tend to play a lot of games together. Though Kai is into games that the youngest can’t really play, we spend a lot of time compromising and playing games together. With such a big age gap, often we need to find games that Robin would enjoy playing – as she can’t get into strategy games. One of her favorites are PAW Patrol – probably due to loving the Pups and their TV show. Previously, we took a look at PAW Patrol: Might Pups, which Robin enjoyed, but with the new movie out, there of course, is a new game called PAW Patrol The Movie: Adventure City Calls.

Rooster’s Roll Top Welded Dry Bag is perfect for bringing wet clothing home

[Ad- gifted product] If you follow Dann or I on Instagram or Twitter, you will know we basically live in the water. We go to our local swimming pool at least once a week and venture further to the ocean nearby often, taking loads of trips. However, one thing we did struggle with until recently was backpacks that held all of our wet and often sandy water supplies on the way back.

Reading is a key part of our day, and we always are on the look out for new books to add to our collection, so we were delighted to hear about the two new books by Chris Jones, called Harley Hound and Red Spotted Ned. These two children’s books are slightly different from the books we have had in the past in our collection, which really stands out to us! But first, let’s talk a bit about the author.

The Bear Can Read Koala Box for July | Review

Despite summer being in full swing, we have been aiming at keeping our learning up in the Hadley-Sullivan house hold! Even though we have been taking many trips out and going on holiday, there has still been time for reading and learning. Robin has continued to enjoy her The Bear Can Read Koala Box. This month included a lot of information about a Bear Picnic, though we haven’t been able to organise a picnic with teddies due to how busy we have been, we had spent time going through the worksheets and reading the book in this month’s box.
