Cartoon Art Museum – Lots of Comics

Dann and I headed over to the Cartoon Art Museum, which is primarily focused on comics and the birth of comic books. It almost feels more like a small collection than a full museum, but they’ve got a mix of classic comics, comic notes, and featured artists who are local and new. Along with this collection, there are a few little fun facts and bits of history, so you could learn a lot there.

Spring Cupcake Class with Sweet Designs by Jennie

I know it’s past Easter, but I couldn’t help booking up another Spring cupcake course with Sweet Designs by Jennie. Our Spring wreath class from last month was ten cupcakes, so this time doing six felt very quick. Escape Hunt actually is within Boom Battle Bar, which was interesting and slightly hard to find, but we were excited to take on Alice in Puzzleland. It had been a while since we all have done an Escape Room, and we were pumped.

Celtic Harmony Camp – So much to discover

During the Easter Break, we wanted to get along to some new activities. Everywhere was having some sort of Easter special event, so we sort of looked at what would be most interesting and new for our family. That’s when we found Celtic Harmony Camp, which aims to engage children in learning about pre-history. As we have some teenagers, we felt that a half day at Celtic Harmony Camp was best for us, though they do have timed activities going on throughout the day.
