Exploring the Musée Mécanique which has antique arcade machines

We’ve been to a few different arcades that feel part arcade and part museum, but we always go to the Musee Mecanique, which is a personal collection of more than 300 different items. They have coin operated pianos, pinball machines, slot machines, little peep shows, puppets, love tests and so much more. Many of them are very old machines, some of which you can only find at the venue.

Seeing the Historical Doumo

Dann is one of those people that really enjoy historical sites, so when the option to go inside the Doumo came up, he was excited and wanted to see it. As someone who’s not a huge fan of religion, I wasn’t as bothered about going inside, personally. It’s worth noting that you need to dress modestly to go inside the Doumo, which means your knees need to be covered and you cannot wear straps or low-necked items. As a warning, there are also a lot of scam sites out there that can try to trick you into purchasing tickets there, so make sure you are using the official site.

Fairy Cupcake Course with Sweet Designs by Jennie

Every month, Amelia and I have some mother-daughter time taking a cupcake course. We’ve been doing this for quite some time, and as Jennie never runs out of ideas and we always have a fantastic time, we were back once again for one of the newer designs; Fairy Cupcakes. This class was warned to be a bit longer than the previous ones we have attended, due to all the intricate little designs we were going to hand craft for these packed cupcakes. Sweet Designs by Jennie is always running these cupcake courses, with a large number of different designs, both seasonal and non-seasonal.

Natural History Museum Exhibition Space: Could Life Exist Beyond Earth?

[Ad- gifted experience] The Natural History Museum is a large, free to enter museum in London that is a fantastic educational day out for all ages. It’s one of those places to see in London, especially with their newly created Dinosaur garden out the front, which we loved going through to get to the main museum itself. Often, they have temporary exhibitions, that highlight a specific topic. Previously, we’ve been to the Birds: Brilliant and Bizarre and were excited when we were asked to explore the Space: Could Life Exist Beyond Earth? exhibition, which does require a separate ticket, which is honestly well worth the price.

Cammas Hall Strawberry Picking!

We often go to Cammas Hall to check out their seasonal fruit, different trails, and fun activities! After a bit of a rainy early morning, we headed off to Cammas Hall for their Strawberry picking. There were tons of strawberries this year, which might be because we went earlier in the season or it might be because we just went earlier in the day. There was also not really any others picking right after the rain, which is always a fun experience as we like to dart between the rows and really explore finding the best strawberries.
