Spa Night with the Deep Collagen Hydration Face Mask

[Ad- gifted products] Every other Monday night, Myself, Amelia and Robin all have a girls night. While the boys go off to DnD, we put on a movie, eat fancy snacks, get some face masks on, and paint our nails. It’s a lovely way to spend time together and really connect with them, while doing something that Kai and Dann wouldn’t want to do anyway! I normally do a clay face mask, but tried out the Deep Collagen Hydration Face Mask, to bring some hydration and life back into my skin in the changing seasons.

Amelia, who very much likes to try new things, also wanted to check out the deep collagen hydration face mask. This mask comes in two pieces, so it can better cover your face then other face masks. It’s also more of a jelly texture then a paper texture, so you cannot really fold it over on your face. I quite liked how cool and soft the mask felt putting it on. It was clearly soaked in serums and collagen, which is always a plus. Collagen is known for improving your skin, so that it’s got less wrinkles and fine lines, along with shrinking pores so that your skin is less likely to break out.

This face mask actually turns color to let you know when it’s finished. The instructions say that it will dry out in about 20 minutes, though we found that they were still full of moisture and not completely changed until we waited about 40 minutes. At which point, the Deep Collagen Hydration Face Mask is paper feeling and semi-translucent. You can sort of see it start to become semi-translucent on specific spots on our faces as the time went on. The mask doesn’t become uncomfortable as it dries out, and it did feel like we were able to absorb everything it had to offer. It’s a very neat face mask that felt fantastic.
