It’s wintertime, there is a chill in the air, so you probably have considered picking up some gloves for your little one’s hands. Gloves come in so many different designs, with so many different colors! As we continued to think about the types of gloves we wanted to have this year, a really cool type of glove came up. LED Light Up Gloves provide not only a warm glove to keep your hands from getting frosty, but also act as a toy for children who want to play around in the dark.
When it comes to getting light up gloves, we had never had them before. The night is coming much sooner than the summertime, and there are so many different outdoor events, so when we got our pair of LED light up gloves, we were very excited. These gloves are a bit tricky to put on, compared to your normal pair of gloves, as each of the fingers of the glove itself have a LED strip of light in them. This light stripe can make it so that your child doesn’t want to push their fingers through the hole, as there is some resistance, but after some use, they get pretty use to this feeling and understand the basics.
The LED Light Up Gloves have a button on the inside of the palm of your hand, which can change around the colors. Robin really loved the single colors in blinking mode where as Amelia likes making her gloves rainbow, and then playing around with the light. That’s the thing with these gloves, they are basically a toy, as children tend to start waving their arms about, making shapes with their gloves, and playing around with the light setting. There are several different modes – from blinking to just staying the color, and a few different color options to choose from as well.
These LED Light Up Gloves come in two sizes; one for ages 4 to 7 and another for ages 8 to 14, depending on the size of your child’s hands. They are really good for night time walks and for playing around in dark spaces, which can sometimes be hard to navigate without a little bit of light.
