[Ad- gifted product] We got mailed another Triyit Box to check out and test! If you are not familiar with Triyit Box, these are not subscription boxes. You will out a survey and then are set products that are new on the market or who have done redesigns, to provide feedback on those items. It’s a product discovery idea, where you are meant to find these new products, try them out, and possibly add one to your regular shop. We have previously received a few Tryit Boxes, and were excited to dive into this one!
Opihr Gin
Opihr Gin is a type of gin that we have had a few times, and is one of Dann’s absolute favorites when it comes to gin. It’s a spiced london dry gin that has a bunch of unique spice blends in each one. We got to try the Black Lemon Opihr as well as the Oriental Spiced one. Both have a very unique flavor that’s very nice to drink.
Lyle’s Golden Syrup
Another absolute classic in our box was Lyle’s Golden Syrup, which is a British classic. This golden syrup is thick and delicious, providing a rich and sweet addition to your breakfast or to use in baking recipes. We have had this before as well, and always enjoy it! Though the top could have more of a spout to get less messy. It looked like some people were ent Lyle’s maple topping, which sounds like a maple syrup by the same company, which we will have to check out soon!
Whyte & Mackay
One of the smoothest whiskies on the market, largely due to the triple maturing that it undergoes, Whyte and Mackay is a whiskey for people who prefer to take their drinks slow and on the rocks. We’re not a scotch household, mainly due to the roughness and strong taste; while this definitely has the latter, Whyte & Mackay is definitely distinctive enough to make us reconsider.
Whiskas Duos
Our cats were excited to try the new Whiskas Duo range, which had one pouch with two flavors in it! Ours were chicken and fish, with fish being Pancake’s absolute favorite wet food. There were two pouches but we now have three cats, so I split it so that each could have a little taste. The cats really enjoyed this food and ate it all, licking their plates clean.
Shanky’s Whip
Shanky’s Whip was a real surprise. It’s a combination of whiskey, vanilla and caramel that goes together really well, making for a really creamy, sweet starting taste with a softened whiskey tail. Apparently it’s great dropped into a stout, according to the site, and I’ve absolutely no doubt of that having tried it.
Wassen Hydrate+ Replenish
This suplimenet was one that you add to water, basically, to start your day with vitamins and minerals you might be missing otherwise. It claims to have 13 vitamins and minerals, with no added sugar. The flavor we got to try was green apple, which tasted sweet and was very pleasent to drink. The powder did have a lot of sedimate that wouldn’t mix in and stayed at the top, but overall it tasted good and I would have it again!
Juicy Drop Blasts and Bazooka Mix-Upz
Two candies by the same company came in our box! The Juicy Drop Blasts where soft chews that had a sour powder on the inside. The outside was delicious but the inside really made me cough as breathed in a bunch of the powder as I ate them. This might be a personal issue, not really sure, but it wasn’t my favorite candy ever. The Bazooka Mix-Upz have these soft candies with powder in the bag, along with some soft candy full of gel. I liked the gel a lot better! There were a bunch of different flavors and it feels like a fun candy.
Proto Future Eco Laundry Detergent Strips
I really want to like laundry strips, but I just never have a good time with them. These are zero waste, plastic free, and hypoallergenic. They have a lot of good buzz words that would make me want to try them. However, I put a full sheet in with my laundry and when my laundry came out it still had a bad smell and didn’t seem clean at all. This might be because it is the fragrance-free version, I am not sure, but I just didn’t like it.
That’s all we had in our box this time! Some new favorites, some old classics, and some items we wanted to try out. Triyit Box is always a fun time.
Ha, I have to get the syrup. My granddaughter is always dissing on my syrup (she takes her food very seriously) and she’s half British so this would be a hoot to have on hand next time she comes to visit.
Your unboxing posts are a delightful way to discover new products and get a sense of your firsthand experiences with them.
I have not heard of the Tryit Box, I have laundry sheets and get on ok with them and like the no waste. I have not tried the sweets or seen them so will look out for them
That Shanky’s Whip sounds very good. I also love the sound of the gins. Looks like a great box.
This box omg…I am loving the Triyit box, it has all these amazing goodies…It’s like a Christmas gift lol
That is such a cool box! I mean, I have never seen any other box where you get everything from candy to booze. VERY cool!
I love the idea of a personalized box based on the information I give a company. And I REALLY love that I don’t have to commit to a monthly or quarterly subscription.
Im not familiar with all the products on the box. But this Triyit Box is a good box, looks like so many products that I need.
Looks like a lot of great products! I see some brands our family enjoys and some new products as well. Sounds like a great box to get.
I love the concept of the Triyit Box! It’s such a refreshing change from typical subscription boxes. The idea of trying out new products on the market or those with redesigns and providing feedback is not only exciting but also valuable. It’s like being a trendsetter and having a say in what makes it to your regular shopping list. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the products in this box! 📦👏 #ProductDiscovery
