[Ad- gifted experience] We’ve been to Las Iguanas quite a few times, as it’s a fantastic Mexican restaurant, and we love Mexican food! One of the great things about them is their loyalty app. This app often has freebies, exclusive offers, and changes to win different things! Often, there is some sort of cocktail feature (at the time that we went, you could take a little survey to know what new cocktail you’d be best likely to enjoy, and then get to try it for free). Kid’s eat free can also be found on the app, along with perks for limited time dishes, discounts on things like giftcards and more. It’s just a lovely way to get a bit of savings!
Taste of Mexico
Las Iguanas has a Taste of Mexico dish, which has chicken fajitas, tortilla chips, chilli and rice on the lunchtime version of this dish. It’s a little bit of everything on a plate. The chili itself had a good amount of seasoning and there was plenty of both chicken and vegetables in the chicken fajitas. I liked the amount of guac and salas that came too, and the tortiall shells so that you could build your own tacos were good. It just is a fantastic little plate with everything you’d want to try.
Shredded Beef Burrito
Dann went for his classic Shredded Beef Burrito at Las Iguanas, which has the beef braised in chipotle. It’s well seasoned, though a little rice forward! Again, there was plenty of salsa, guac and sour cream that came on the side. The burrito itself is very filling, especially for lunch, which was exactly what we came for.
Cocktails at Las Iguanas
We got a few cocktails from the menu at Las Iguanas, through taking an quiz on the app, which had me ranking a few cocktails to see what I liked. The end was a Green Flag Cocktail, which was fruity, a bit sour, and very delicious. We also got a free cocktail for Dann, who selected one of the mango ones off the menu. You see, taking this quiz gave me the option for any free cocktail, not specifically the one it recommended, so it’s great to have such flexible deals!
Las Iguanas has lots of different venues all around England, but all of them have the same type of food and work well with the app. It’s just a great place to go for some Mexican food.
