A Day out at Belhus Woods Country Park | A Gnome Trail

[Ad- gifted product] When it comes to getting out and about, there are a few parks and woods that the children really, really love. Belhus Woods Country Park, which includes a musical-themed play park, is one of those places that the children always want to go too. Last year, around the month of December, they had a reindeer trail which everyone enjoyed, so we hopped along again in the muddy wintertime to see if a new trail was set up – and to our delight, they had put together a gnome trail for us all!

A Day Out at Lightopia London 2021

It is one of our yearly traditions to attend Lightopia! Previously, we have waited until January to go, but this year we figured we should grab tickets while we can, in case the event wasn’t on for as long as previous years. Lightopia, if you do not know, is an event ran by the same people who ran Dino Kingdom! A Day Out at Enlightened Hyland Park

This year, we wanted to take the children out to a light trail! Enlightened is an annual lights festival, but we had never been before, and this year, the website stated it was bigger and better than ever – which sounds pretty good to us!

Exploring Warwick Castle

Dann and I had previously stayed in the Knight’s village of Warwick Castle last year and said that we’d take the kids there at some point. When they had their Christmas Light Trail, as we were trying to hit every light trail possible, so we decided to spend the afternoon at the castle. During the time we went, they did have Christmas at the Castle going on, as Warwick Castle always has a bunch of different events. This event included a large Christmas market and some ice skating outside.

Project 365 – January

Project 365 is sort of like a diary. Every day, a picture is selected and a little diary entry is written about the day. This acts as a living journal, though some post daily, some weekly, and some like me, post monthly. I am participating with a bunch of other bloggers, to write about our day to day lives! You can read all about January here, and hopefully as the year continues you can watch how my life changes and grows. If you want, you can also check out the other bloggers participating at the bottom of this post.
