Exploring Ebbor Gorge National Nature Reserve

While on our adventure to Wookey Hole, we did have a full day of just visiting the local area. As the weather was so wonderful and nature so plentiful in that area, we decided to go to Ebbor Gorge National Nature Reserve and have a big walk about. Dann and I decided to do this as a photography walk, as we had been taking so many photos of the new places all day, and figured that brought more adventure and slowed down the walk – which was already quite long – so smaller feet (Robin’s specifically) could keep up.

A Day Out at Glow Wild Wakehurst

It’s been a few years since Dann and I went along to Glow Wild Wakehurst, a yearly illumination event! We are both big fans of illumination trails and aim to take our children to one each year, and this year we selected Glow Wild Wakehurst, as they had not been to this specific one previously. Glow Wild Wakehurst has a different theme each year, with completely different illuminations and even a different path through the gardens so that it does all feel fresh and new.

So, we went back for the Brick or Treat event at Legoland, which saw the park transformed into a Halloween wonderland, full of decorations and new spooks. We were actually able to see the vast majority of the Halloween things; taking pictures with the various spooky characters like Lord Drack, finding giant Lego heads, and riding our favourite rides. There are also a large number of limited time events around the park that we, of course, checked out.

Factopia fills a child with curious knowledge

[Ad- gifted product] I feel like every child goes through a phase of wanting to know everything and trying to find facts they can memorise so that they can then show it off to their friends. This sort of curiosity is one that often leads to lots of questions being asked. Not everything children read on the internet is true, and it’s often hard to go from one place to another, so when I saw Factopia, I felt that it was a good alternative which connects a bunch of different facts together in a way that makes them easier to understand.

Ridley’s Giant Bubble set – Perfect for Summer | Review

[Ad- gifted product] Bubbles seem to be a constant at our home. We’ve had so many different bubble wands, bubble machines and bottles of bubbles around. Robin, in particular, loves to blow bubbles and goes through bubble solution like it’s going out of fashion. When we received Ridley’s Giant Bubble Set, she was delighted to have some new wands to play with!
