When Robin found out about the new PAW Patrol movie, she was very excited. Adding a new video game in the mix, however, always makes the experience so much more! The PAW Patrol World game is a 3D adventure where you can explore Adventure Bay, Jake’s Mountain, a Jungle and Barkingburg. Robin really enjoys how each of the PAW Patrol games are unique. This one focuses around TV Show-inspired missions and has a bunch of collectables.

PAW Patrol Word feels very open world, with the ability to move around the town and do whatever you want. Right from the start, you can play as any of the Pups you want, with each one having their own vehicles to ride around the city and solve various mini-games. Many of the locals in the area all have different missions that they need help with, and as the PAW Patrol, you are the ones going to help. There isn’t a set order to solving these quests, and some quests need specific pups.

Robin really enjoyed the freedom of moving around such a massive town, changing to Zuma to explore the water, then to Sky so that she could glide up higher. Collecting the bone treats around the map unlock various little gifts like stickers to decorate the pup’s vehicles, accessories that each pup can try on, post cards showing scenes with the pups and stickers. One of Robin’s favorite things in PAW Patrol World was taking these post cards and adding silly stickers to them, to decorate them. She thought it was very funny creating her own scenes and adding stickers to the pictures to make them look funny.

Robin is also a big fan of playing games with family. Though you can play PAW Patrol World as a single player, you can also play two-player co-op. This works really well as a parent-and-child game for younger ones too. You can easily help your child solve all of the puzzles, especially if they are struggling, and you can unlock different things for your child to play with as well. There is a teleportation feature if you both get separated, as well as reconnect at mini-games automatically. Dann and Robin ran off in different directions, very quickly trying to unlock everything in the game.

PAW Patrol World is a fun, well made game for young ones. It’s great that the game itself has so many fun, new features and feels so open and free. The collectables are particularly fun, and having so many of them to collect gives a lot of reason to explore the large map and collect bones!
