Stitch Speedy Puzzle – A Puzzle Challenge

[Ad – Gifted Products] Puzzles aren’t often something that is done at quick speed – at least not in our household. So, when we heard about Stitch Speedy Puzzle (though they have a bunch of other designs as well), which is a sort of puzzle board game challenge combination, we were interested in seeing how our family got on with it! Obviously, we have some different ages going on, but everyone can complete a puzzle. We play our board games at our local Geek Retreat, on a Monday evening, as a family event – and this was no different.

The Stitch Speedy Puzzle is actually four puzzles, one for each player that is taking part in the game (up to four players). These puzzles are all completely different. As we had a younger player, Robin, we decided to let everyone shuffle up their pieces and keep them in their own individual pile, but I do feel that mixing up all of the pieces together could be a very fun idea, as it would bring more challenge to the whole game.

The game starts with everyone building their puzzles a part from the oldest player. That player picks up a task token and does the task, before hitting the button. These tasks have a bunch of different categories – some involve dancing, some involve jumping about, some involve shuffling up other people’s puzzle pieces… it’s really a toss up! Stitch Speedy Puzzle is one of those games that does take up a lot of space as you do need to jump off your seat and move about! It can also be a bit strange to be doing in a public space, but they are pretty use to use at Geek Retreat. I do like the buzzer, and found without it, we’d never know when the last person finished their task as we were all so focused on building puzzles!

Amelia was particularly quick, though I often started helping Robin build when she ended up too far behind. I think we’d end up mixing up everyone’s pieces a part from Robin’s int he future, as that would make a fair curve of gameplay for us.
