Christmas Characters Cupcake Class with Sweet Designs by Jennie

Amelia and I are always looking forward to the cupcake decorating classes by Sweet Designs by Jennie. This Christmas Character Cupcake Class is our final class of the year, but we got to see a sneak peak at one of the new classes coming in January, and we are really excited to get to decorating! The Christmas Character Cupcake Class was one of four winter / Christmas themed classes that Jennie was running. As always, the cupcakes were pre-baked, the fondant was already colored, and we all sat down to enjoy a few hours of creating decorations.

An Evening Out at Enlightened Hylands Estate

There are a ton of light trails in Essex and we were looking to hit quite a few! The first class of the school year was packed, with everyone creating either boiled or fried dumplings with a meat or vegetarian filling. Dann and I went with the meat filling, which had meat in it, along with a specific flavoring packet that is sort of like a seasoned soy sauce, but less liquid.

Night out at Cammas Hall Bonfire Night

We went to Cammas Hall earlier in the year for Strawberry Picking and more recently for their Pumpkin Patch, but were delighted when Amelia’s friend’s parents invited our family to the Cammas Hall Bonfire Night so that all of our kids could hang out and have a good time in the evening! We had not been before, however they had, and we were pretty excited to finally try all of the food carts there, as it felt like the perfect excuse to try out dinner at the venue. It’s worth noting this event is paid by car, not by person, and only happens for two days of each year.
