Untamed Cat Food – Real meat for growing cats!

[Ad- gifted product] Now, we did try out Untamed Cat Food a few years back, as they were offering out trial packs to get your cats use to their tastes and see if they were any good. At the time, we had two cats, and now have a third cat that has not tried Untamed properly. With this in mind, when they reached out to offer a box for us to review, I was interested in what our newest cat thought of the brand. I remember it going down well, with the only real reason we stayed with our current cat food provider was the availability at our local shop, which is just more convenient for us.

Untamed Cat Food talks about having fresher, easier to digest ingredients that can promote better fur, less hairballs, and generally help your cat’s health. They also have a big focus on ancestral pray within their cat food. Their food is meant to have less plant filler, less sugars, and less animal “derivatives” by a large part, which are always good to see. They sent over a bunch of two different kids; meat in jelly and meat in gravy. Pesto is a big gravy lover, where as the other two cats don’t have a preference as long as they are having their wet food, but it was interesting to see the difference between these two types of food.

The gravy version had lots of little bits, inside a bunch of gravy, where as the jelly obviously had a more thick, need to be broken up can of food that had a lot of tasty jelly. Both types were devoured by our cats, though the gravy version was Pesto’s preference, as expected, as he doesn’t like having to chew jelly at all. We had been gifted quite a lot of cans for our cats, who did prefer the fish to the chicken when given the choice, but overall ate them all up. Untamed do have a guide on how to slowly introduce some of their wet food with your cat’s current wet food, if you have a particular cat, to get them adjusted. Our cats are quite adventurous when it comes to food, so they didn’t have any issue just eating.

Our cats clearly enjoyed Untamed. If you are looking for a cat food that promises to have more meat within it, which is something that cats really do need, then Untamed is well worth looking into. They’ve got trial boxes, at very affordable prices, which makes this cat food easy to test out for your little furry friends.
