With the end of Blogtober this year, I feel the end of a lot of pressure! I am so glad we took part – and look forward to Blogmas, but finding ourselves creating a post every other day about Halloween, while balancing the world opening up and work, has been a challenge as always. I really enjoyed Blogtober this year, though next year I hope to include more crafts and recipes. It was an interesting October, as the world had just started opening back up, and with a few different events to attend, a bunch of new pumpkin patches, and a few parties / weddings / other family occasions, the month was jam packed!
In the end, my favorite pumpkin patch turned out to be Cammas Hall, if not just for their large corn maze, however Capel Garden’s spooky trail was my favorite day out, and I will probably go back there in the spring time to see all of the blooms! We created a lot of cornerstone pieces this Halloween, as well as days out, and were able to update lists for things like spooky treats and Halloween packed lunches, which are always a favorite of mine. Speaking about food, the Pumpkin Bread I made this year was a favorite throughout the household, and eaten nearly as fast as banana bread!
This October was just a fun time, and having Blogtober as a way to reflect back on it is quite nice. When it comes to comparing this year to last year, I did far less review styled content of Halloween items, as we had just been so busy going out and seeing the world. I think next year, I’d like to try out more review style items again, and have a better balance. I think I might end up doing a full month of all October posts, but we will see where we are at with our blog and with the activities we have planned around the local area.
Blogtober is a really fun challenge, and a great part of blogging. If you have completed blogtober yourself – well done to you – I know it was a challenge! If you didn’t take part in blogtober this year, I would recommend you do at some point, if not just for the challenge.
This post is apart of our Blogtober series, all with a Halloween or Autumn theme.
Nice one. Well done for completing Blogtober! I am loving all of the sizes and shapes of the pumpkins in your photos
Yeah we got a big variety! Thank you.
I loooove October, it is my fav month. The best colors, Halloween, the chilled weather…love it!
It is a great time of year!
I love all the pumpkins! My family still hasn’t cut out our pumpkin faces yet and its passed halloween! Better late then never.
