Crusty Rolls for Stew with Wright’s Baking Oat and Linseed Bread Mix

[Ad- gifted product] We have made quite a bit of the different Wright’s Baking mixes – from cakes to breads, as it’s so easy to use and has so much flavor! Now that we have hit the warmer months, I have been making more hearty foods, which include stew. Our household is a big stew household – I make quite a few for dinner. Kai always is excited about having stew for DnD as it fits the theme of DnD well, which is very silly. Whenever we have stew, everyone wants a crusty bread, so this time I made Wright’s Baking Oat and Linseed Bread Mix into little rolls.

This bread mix had a lot of different grains in them, which is so much fun to have in your own bread. I like that it’s very easy to use Wright’s Baking mixes, as you just need to add water and kneed. None of them really need anything else added! I kneaded the bread, as it said, then let it sit before doing more kneading and rolling into balls. Then, they sat in a tray for one more rise. My house isn’t super warm this time of year, so I often put them in a warmed oven (after turning it off) with a slightly damp towel on top. This keeps the rolls from drying out while also keeping them in a dry place.

When the rolls were ready to put on, I baked them! The Wright’s Baking Oat and Linseed bread mix was a denser bread, which was perfect for beef stew. My stew actually came out the best it’s ever been, with the gravy being nice and think. Amelia and Robin said it was SO delicious and having the perfect little rolls to tear up and dip into the stew. It was such a fun time and so easy to do! Wright’s Baking is perfect if you are looking for a bread or cake mix without so much fuss.
