[Ad – Gifted Products] Robin is a big fan of her travel Yoto, which often finds it’s way into her travel bag and along to any sort of sleepover that she’s attending. As it’s a primarily screen-free toy, we let her have free range of it in her room and in her bag, since it’s not got connection to the internet or the like in a way that she can play it when she’s not meant to be on screens. Recently, after the new Moana movie which we saw in cinema, Yoto have released 5 Minute Moana Stories!
The 5 Minute Moana Stories card has eight different Moana stories, along with an introduction and a credits chapter, all based on the Disney Moana 2016 movie. These stories are all around 5 minutes, with quite a few hitting the 6 minute mark, so that they can be listened to in bite-sized moments around other activities. All of them are voice acted as well, so it feels like you are really listening to the actors or watching a TV show, without the big bright screen.
These types of story cards, we’ve found, are ideal for night time or wind down time with children. Robin is a Disney fan, so very much likes listening to the Moana stories when she is coloring or crafting, or if it’s time for bed but still to bright out for her to actually get to sleep. She will listen to them on her own, as she relaxes, which feels like a fantastic use of the Yoto. The 5 Minute Moana Stories fits well into that routine and use, which feels like a great new card to add to her collection, especially as we’ve recently seen the movie. It’s perfectly timely.
