A Day Out at Jurassic Falls Adventure Golf

If you haven’t noticed, the kids really love dinosaurs – especially the youngest, Robin. This summer was all about new experiences for the three of them, and one of them was going off to play mini-golf. As a kid, Jupiter grew up in a very small town, which had it’s own mini-golf course as the major town nearby had quite a few. Going to mini-golf was something she did often and even played as apart of my school’s summer rec program. When looking for mini-golf, Jurassic Falls Adventure Golf seemed like the best option.

With all three kids in tow, we went off to Jurassic Falls. They have a mini-golf course that can be played through in about an hour, as well as a big climbing thing for older children. The climbing range is quite interesting, but Robin is just too small to go on it, so we skipped it this time around opting for just the Jurassic Falls golf. We grabbed our golf balls and clubs, then set off.

Office Monster Colouring Books and Pens | Review

[Ad- gifted products] When it comes to crafts, the kids tend to colour and draw each and every week they are here. Often the paints get dragged out and markers find their way downstairs. It’s always good to see them interacting with things that are not just the Xbox or Nintendo Switch. When Office Monsters were offering some arts and crafts supplies to try out, we jumped at the idea, looking at what the kids would like to try and what colouring books they had.

Travel Colouring Books

The kids often find themselves in the car, going from place to place and onto some of our adventures. Traveling to various places for days out or just shopping trips can be tricky, as the kids aren’t very use to being in a car. They often start annoying each other or are just bored in the backseat. When browsing the website, I saw a pretty clever idea. Office Monsters have Tallon Children’s Travel Colouring Set – which comes with three copies of two different colouring books. The first three were mermaid and under the sea themed, while the other three were jungle and animal themed.

A Day at Legoland Windsor

Kai asked to go to Legoland, so off to Legoland Windsor we went. Jupiter has never been to an amusement park in the United Kingdom, nor had she been to Legoland, so she was very excited! Dann on the other had had been to Legoland and other amusement parks, but not with the kids, so it’s exciting times for all.

Maqio Toys Backpack & Other Back to School items | Review

[Ad- gifted products] As it is nearly time for the children to go back to school, it’s time to grab up a few backpacks, purchase some lunch boxes and get together all of the different lunch box accessories they need. Maqio Toys provided some backpacks for the kids, as they have a selection on their site, while the lunch boxes and other items were purchased. You see, in schools in the United Kingdom, you do not need to provide much for your children. They do not need notebooks, pencils, pencil cases, glue – just a backpack and a lunch box will suffice at their age.

I have no idea why the eldest led all three kids to the back wall, to take a photo, but he did.

A Day at the Beach: Walton-on-the-Naze

When Jupiter first moved to England, she lived by the sea side. Each day, she could hear the waves from her window and almost taste the salt in the air. She loves the ocean, the soft sand and the feel of the beach. As it is summertime, and Walton-on-the-Naze is so close, we just had to have a day out to the beach.

The children were pretty excited about a beach day, so we packed a picnic lunch and set off in the morning to get to the beach! The drive there wasn’t too long, but when we arrived everyone was ready to eat some food before taking on the large jungle gym that we parked by.
