Seeing Owls at Eagle Heights Wildlife Foundation

[Ad- gifted experience] We all really love owls! Our children’s school does photos with owls, Dann has done an owl walk, and all three of our children have spent a lot of time asking about owls and if we can have owls. We were overjoyed to hear that we could get close to and learn about a few different types of owls at Eagle Heights Wildlife Foundation!

New Essentials from Yours Clothing

[Ad- gifted products] As rainy and cold autumn hits, it always feels like a good time to get some new clothing to go with the season, and to pack away things that are reserved for just the summer. Yours Clothing always has a big selection of essentials, changed for every season, that work well at complimenting what I already have dug out for the warmer seasons! Funkin Nitro Cocktails – simple and fun

[Ad- gifted products] When it comes to at home cocktails, it can be quite the endeavour to actually sit down and mix your own drinks. In the evenings, after a long day of work and housework, it’s just something that we don’t often want to do when unwinding. A Day out at Land of the Dead

In our hopes to make the most of the spooky, Halloween vibe that’s in the air, we have been looking for new local festivals to attend, and came across Land of the Dead! Land of the Dead is a festival that has a few different aspects to it; a pumpkin patch, a circus, few rides, food stands and some decorated houses that feel like a little village to explore. We had never been before and didn’t really know what to expect, so were happy to explore!

Brick or Treat Legoland Event 2022

We go to Legoland often and have for several years. Though we have never gone to Legoland for any of their special events before, we did end up hopping along, by mistake, for one of their 90th anniversary events and got to make some cool Lego designs that then allowed us to collect pop badges. These badges were really cool, and hung on our children’s wall, reminding them about Legoland and all of our adventures.

So, we went back for the Brick or Treat event at Legoland, which saw the park transformed into a Halloween wonderland, full of decorations and new spooks. We were actually able to see the vast majority of the Halloween things; taking pictures with the various spooky characters like Lord Drack, finding giant Lego heads, and riding our favourite rides. There are also a large number of limited time events around the park that we, of course, checked out.
