My Summer Affirmations

[Ad- collab] Summer is here, at least in the UK. It’s been warm, the beaches are filled with people, and we have all been itching to get out in the sun. After a year of not really seeing anyone, I’ve felt a lot of social anxiety to being suddenly around loads of humans. As the summer is full of opportunity, we have been focusing on getting out regardless and working through any sort of fear when it comes with getting out and about. If you are someone new to affirmations, they are short phrases or sayings that you can focus on, to motivate you and remind you of your goals.

Keeping dry with a Towel Robe from Halocline

[Ad- gifted product] Towel Robes might seem like a pretty silly thing to have – to be honest. When I had first heard of them, I thought they were a bit strange – a whole towel poncho that you can wear over your swimsuit or wet body to keep dry. The Bear Can Read Koala Box for May | Review

We are onto our second The Bear Can Read Koala Box, which Robin excitedly opened up, straight from the mail. It’s really lovely to see her so excited about learning and reading, and I feel having this as a subscription is playing a good part in that. Start each day with A Dad Joke A Day | Book Review

[Ad- gifted product] I feel like all kids go through a joke phases – when they want to tell jokes, even if they don’t quite understand them. I remember having joke books as a kid, reciting them out to my family with various levels of success in the jokes. Kai is the joker in our family, with his Minecraft joke book at the ready, telling us gaming-themed jokes, so when we got a copy of A Day Joke a Day, he was delighted. This book provides 365 dad jokes, one for each and every day of the year! This book is written by DaddiLife – a parenting and lifestyle blogger who seems to know a lot about being a dad and jokes!

Hermitage Rd. Bar and Restaurant | Review

After going out to the Lavender Field, we went to the Hemitage Rd. Bar and Restaurant! This place had some really quite upscale, lovely food and I am so glad Dann picked it out. I look forward to going back, as I really enjoyed the food that much. The boost upscale pizzas, steaks, ribs, burgers and more. We ended up getting two mains, a side to split, and were very full by the end of our meal.
