[Ad- gifted product] When it comes to Christmas Gifts, sometimes items that have a little bit of flash about them is the best way to go. This Aqua Bluetooth Speaker is one that we have been using in our house for a few years now, so when Wicked Uncle reached out about doing a review and giveaway, we were onboard. Dann spends some of his evenings at our dining room table, planning out DnD campaigns and listening to music. Looking for something to project his music beyond his cell phone, he went with this flashy Aqua Bluetooth Speaker due to it’s general look and appeal.

The Boathouse Restaurant – Beautiful Views of Loch Ness

While staying with Abbey Holidays at The Highland Club in Loch Ness, they recommended we eat at The Boathouse Restaurant, which is within view of the apartments that they rent. This little ma-and-pa style restaurant is one that has beautiful, stunning views of Loch Ness. The views themselves are enough to bring anyone to the area, but the food is also something we wanted to try and see if it lived up to the breathtaking views. The menu itself has a mix of Scottish food and Turkish food, as the owner is Turkish. I went for the Turkish options myself!

Making a Candy Pizza with Wright’s Baking Toffee Cake Mix

[Ad- gifted product] What do you do with all of your leftover Halloween Candy? In our household, we do eat pieces here and there, along with all you want to eat on Halloween itself, but we often still have tons of candy. One thing we always like doing is creating a Candy Pizza. This is a very easy way to decorate with some of the candy that hasn’t been picked from the Halloween Candy pile and just feels fun too. We used Wright’s Baking Toffee Cake mix as the base of our pizza – which can be a giant cookie or a thin cake.

Exploring the Coventry Christmas Market

It’s officially the time of Christmas Markets in England! Dann and I had already ventured to one of the ones in London, which was very crowded and very much like a London Christmas Market. With that in mind, we wanted to take our children to one, so we picked the Coventry Christmas Market which felt like it had more room! This market had just opened the day before, so we were excited to see what it is like as none of us had been.

Watching Cinderella at The Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch

[Ad- gifted experience] It’s Christmas time, which in England means there are tons of pantos. Last year, I went to my first ever panto and had a wonderful time. Cinderella had a lot of the same actors from the previous panto I saw at The Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch, so I was well excited to see it. Cinderella is a classic story, but like most plays, this one felt unique and with a twist.
