A Day Out at Glow Wild Wakehurst

It’s been a few years since Dann and I went along to Glow Wild Wakehurst, a yearly illumination event! We are both big fans of illumination trails and aim to take our children to one each year, and this year we selected Glow Wild Wakehurst, as they had not been to this specific one previously. Glow Wild Wakehurst has a different theme each year, with completely different illuminations and even a different path through the gardens so that it does all feel fresh and new.

Hazelnut Melting Moments Cookie Recipe

When it comes to wintertime, one of the fondest memories I have from when I was a child was creating cookie trays with my grandmother. Though there were tons of gingerbread cookies and sugar cookies that you can decorate, my favorite to eat was always these Hazelnut Melting Moments cookies, which are crumbly, hazelnut cookies with chocolate! Best Meze Grill – Really lovely food and atmosphere

We have spent a lot of this year going to Legoland, and there is one thing that Legoland sucks at; food. There really isn’t any good food to eat there, so we started looking for places nearby that would be able to fill our bellies with dinner. A Day out at Legoland at Christmas

If you have been reading our blog, you will know we are a fan of Legoland. This year was actually the year of amusement parks, where we went to as many amusement parks as we could in the year. As Legoland is our most local amusement park, we wanted to go to the Halloween event, Bonfire Night event and Christmas event, to experience the park in a bunch of different ways. We were able to check out Legoland at Christmas and had a pretty fun time!

A Day Out at Wonderland at Adventure Island

As we are attending loads of seasonal events at amusement parks this year, when our friends invited us to come to Wonderland at Adventure Island with their family, we were well up for it! We are seasonal pass holders at Adventure Island, which gave us a discount on the Winter Wonderland tickets and a free pass to each go in and use all of the other rides at the park. It is worth noting the Wonderland ticket does not include rides this year (though I heard it did previously) and you will need to book separately!
