A Day Out at Horrible Histories Terrible Tudors

We are on a mission to go to every Horrible Histories live show. We’ve been to the car drive-ins, we have been to the river Thames boat tour, so it felt like this summer was time to go to the stage show at Garrick theatre. Horrible Histories Terrible Tudors is an hour long stage show that follows the history of the Tudors, played completely by two actors, who are costume switching and being quite playful with the audience.

A Day Out at Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach

[Ad- gifted experience] We recently had our summer holiday in Great Yarmouth, where we spent so much time at the beach, along the main road, and in the sun! On our last day in Great Yarmouth, we went to the Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach, which is a really old amusement park that is massive, right by the sea front. It reminded me of Adventure Island, our local amusement park by the sea, but these rides were much older and some were ones we had never seen before.

A Day Out at Jump Street Clip n’ Climb Chelmsford

The summer holidays is in full swing, so we have been looking to get our kids out and about to lots of fun activities, some of which actually involve moving around! Previously, Dann and I went to an adult hour at Clip n’ Climb Chelsea and had a lovely time. We had shown the pictures to Amelia, Kai and Robin who all were super interested. When out to Legoland, as the kids were climbing the rock wall by Lego Ninjago, we remember Clip n’ Climb and decided to book it up! Jump Street has a Clip n’ Climb section on their website, so we figured we’d take a look at theirs.

A Day Out at the Mostly Jazz Funk and Soul Festival!

[Ad- gifted experience] Dann and I, along with Claire, got to go to the Mostly Jazz Funk and Soul Festival last weekend, and it was an amazing experience. None of us had ever been to a festival, and weren’t completely sure what to expect. This festival was held in a park in Birmingham, which was easy to access from both train and car. We ended up parking near the venue, using on road parking, which was free on a Sunday.

Afternoon Tea at Cedars Park Cafe

[Ad- gifted experience] Dann and I love doing little outings, and despite living quite close to historical Cedars Park, we’ve never actually wandered over there. One afternoon, we decided to take a look around Cedars Park and try out the afternoon tea that they have at the Cedars Park Cafe, thanks to the BuyAGift voucher, which you can gif to anyone to give them an afternoon tea experience. You do need to pre-book the afternoon tea and cannot order it on the day, so ensure that you do so before arriving!
