Dann and I love going to cooking courses, though we haven’t been to enough thus far. This year, we are trying to attend more local events and be a bigger part of our local community. [Ad- gifted experience] Dann and I love going out for a bite to eat! As an American living in England, I was pretty excited to try out Marco’s New York Italian, at their London Bridge location. Using their gift voucher for a meal for two, we had a bit of a set dinner, with a starter, main and dessert, along with a glass of prosecco included. Booking for the voucher was easily done on our website, and we did not need to show the voucher at the time we arrived either.
This week is a mix of big meals, complex meals, and more simple meals! We had some chaos, some simple meals that the little ones could help with, and some that just gave me a bit of a break from cooking big meals. Hopefully this gives you some inspiration for your own menu creation for the week!
Whenever there is a new Asian food place opening near us, we do take the time to visit! Mowchi opened a location in Lakeside, so we went on opening day, to try as much of the menu as we possibly could. Mowchi doesn’t have a huge menu, there are two types of fries and a handful of different bao. The bao itself falls under two types; regular bao buns and bao-gers, which are like huge bao buns on large burgers. We tried one of each food, and each got a tea.

[Ad- gifted experience] Robin and I went along to the Grinchmas Bus to check out The Grinch: Christmas Adventures, the video game, in style. The Grinchmas Bus Afternoon Tea experience is one that is ideal for those who love The Grinch or video games, and want to do something quite unique this holiday season! Though the Grinch himself isn’t onboard, this is an experiencer that really highlights the magic of the season.
