How to best support someone after they’ve lost a loved one

It is always a sad time when someone passes. Often, if you have a friend or loved one who has lost a family member, you may be unsure on how to interact with them or support them after that loss. Their might be a fear that if you talk to them, you might say the wrong thing or make the situation worse, but when it comes to loss, having a friend’s support can really be a big help during such a hard and trying time. Often, you won’t be making the situation worse, and sometimes just being there can make a huge difference.

[Ad- gifted product] It’s nearly time for back to school, so one of the things our household has been doing is trying out new snacks! The kids always have packed lunches at our home, and we attempt to make them as fun as we can, with fruit picks, items cut into various shapes, a variety of colors and treats. A Day Out at Hick’s Orchard

Hick’s Orchard is a place I actually worked at, as a kid. I feel like everyone in the area has worked at Hick’s at one point or another. It’s one of those pick your own places, with a nice sized farm shop, a hard cider taste room and more all in one space. Easing Chronic Pain with the Actigun Pro

[Ad- gifted product] When it comes to back pain, my back is pretty bad. When I was a child, I had gotten into an accident that has effected my spine and the muscles around it. Being an American, we did not go to the doctors and instead let my back heal on my own. Since then, I have been in pain. I wake up most mornings in mild discomfort, which increases throughout the day. Some days are worse than others – sometimes standing while doing dishes will cause lightning feeling pain up my spine. Other days, I can manage it and am fine until I go to bed. It’s not something I really talk about, because it’s really just apart of my life.

Wahaca – Mexican Street Food | Restaurant Review

For my birthday last year, I wanted to go out to one of my favourite restaurants; Wahaca. It’s been some time since I’ve been, due to the whole lockdown situation and the lack of events in London, so it felt like a great time to journey into the city and try some tacos and street food with my family. My kids have actually never been to Wahaca, so it was very lovely to get to show them a restaurant that I have enjoyed. When Jupiter and I go to Wahaca, we normally order a bunch of small items from their menu and split them, so that’s what we did here.

Strawberry Daiquiri & Horchata
