Bone Daddies – Japanese Soul Food | Restaurant Review

It’s no secret that I love Japanese food, I adore a good ramen, a well made broth, a bunch of different toppings. I like eating a variety of food, but after months of lockdown, I just wanted a bowl of ramen. I was absolutely delighted that Bone Daddies in London opened back up (with social distancing measures) to serve some food I hadn’t had in far too long. Dann and I went along to the first weekend they opened back up, hoping to be warmed on a rainy day by a nice bowl of soup.

Delton Bags – Dark Grey Canvas Satchel | Review

[Ad- gifted product] I’ve had quite a few messenger bags (or satchels, if you will) over the years, due in part to the fact that the best ones can fit a tablet or laptop in them with no issue. They also give ample space for cables, promotional goods and the mass of business cards which I receive whenever I attend an event for work, and all without having to pull the thing off of my back.

Anyway, to cut a long story short, something happened to my previous, trusty bag, and all of a sudden I was in need of a new one. Perfect timing for us to grab a Canvas Satchel bag (from Delton Bags), which we got from the Trendhim site, then, and – as it happens – it is incredibly similar to my previous ones. So no complaints there. Most importantly, the bag had an absolute mass of storage locations. On either side of the bag, there are drink holders which are always welcome when you’re working your way around an event hall – although these don’t tend to see much use if you have a laptop with a 17″ or greater screen.

How to modernise your home; bringing your home to the 2020s

While it’s easy to look back at the various decades that have passed now and point out the large trends that really defined them, people rarely take a step back and look at their home interior choices looking for similar patterns. Naturally, as you probably do yourself, we often just get on with things around the house, dismissing signs of the times like carpeted bathrooms, or cupboards built entirely around water heating units – If you’ve got either of those in your house, then you’ve probably got a new-build from the 90s too. While it’s easy to look back at the various decades that have passed now and point out the large trends that really defined them, people rarely take a step back and look at their home interior choices looking for similar patterns.

Awfully Posh Pork Scratchings | Snack Review

[Ad- gifted product] In our household, we really do snack often. I like to have a variety of snacks readily available for everyone to enjoy. Though we tend to stay away from processed goods, occasionally we do dip into more processed, delicious snacks as long as they are of good quality. The Awfully Posh pork scratchings fall under this category! They have two flavors; Sea Salt and Chilli & Garlic. Both are made with premium pork skin and are checked over to make sure the best of the best goes into the bag.

A Day Out at Gudetama the Lazy Egg x Artbox Cafe & Boutique

Earlier in the year, I went to the Pusheen x Artbox Cafe & Boutique and had a lovely time! There is nothing I love more than themed places and themed food. When Artbox announced the next theme was Gudetama the Lazy Egg, I was excited to get back down to Brighton and check it out! I actually went twice before writing this post as Dann surprised me with a weekend out in Brighton for my birthday and then I went along with Dann, Claire, and a few friends. Gudetama the Lazy Egg is a tired, exhausted, lazy egg that has a round bottom! He’s a funny character and his arrival came a quite interesting menu of savory food too!
