A Day Out at Gudetama the Lazy Egg x Artbox Cafe & Boutique

Earlier in the year, I went to the Pusheen x Artbox Cafe & Boutique and had a lovely time! There is nothing I love more than themed places and themed food. When Artbox announced the next theme was Gudetama the Lazy Egg, I was excited to get back down to Brighton and check it out! I actually went twice before writing this post as Dann surprised me with a weekend out in Brighton for my birthday and then I went along with Dann, Claire, and a few friends. Gudetama the Lazy Egg is a tired, exhausted, lazy egg that has a round bottom! He’s a funny character and his arrival came a quite interesting menu of savory food too!

Withings HR 36mm Rose Gold Watch | Review

[Ad- gifted product] I am not someone who always wears a watch. I always found that watches didn’t add enough to be worth it, but then I discovered the Withings smart watch. You see, smart watches are an entirely different breed of watch, they do so much more than normal watches. I went with the sleek Withings Steel HR 36mm Rose Gold White Dial Grey Silicone Wristband – a watch that has a big name that’s mainly description.

When it came to features, the Withings watch has a lot of them! When you look at the face, you can see the time, as well as a smaller dial on the bottom that shows how close you are to your steps goal. In the companion phone app, you are able to set up a steps goal which is then tracked on your watch. Your phone will send you little badges and congratulation messages when you’ve hit the goals. This is quite encouraging. On the top of the watch’s face, you can see a little black circle which, when pushing the button on the side, can cycle through all of the sets you have on your watch.

Custome Chopping Board from Personalised Gift Market | Review

[Ad- gifted product] We do a lot of home cooking in our household. I never ate freezer food growing up, so eating out of freezers or cans just isn’t something I do in my household. I much rather make my own food, developing the flavors I want and enjoying the time. One of the things I seem to collect are cutting and chopping boards! You always need a bunch of chopping boards in your home, it’s good to have different boards for different jobs – some that are used just for raw meat, others for veggies, some that are used for serving food!

Pretty Suds June 2020 Bath Bomb Box | Review

I was pretty excited for the theme for June after getting my last Pretty Suds Bath Bomb Box, hoping they’d be space themed and not Alton John themed when I heard that it was Rocket Man! These bath bombs were lovely and there was even a surprise in the box – a bonus non-bath bomb – that everyone really got a kick out of. As said, this theme was Rocket Man with a space theme throughout.

Coco & Vanilla Cocktails | Review

[Ad- gifted products] Since lock down began, the want for delicious cocktails sent directly to your door has increased. Jupiter is not much of a beer drinker and loves mixed drinks. Dann enjoys beer but spends a lot of time mixing his own drinks and enjoying the balance and showman ship that comes with creating your own. When Coco & Vanilla announced they’d be mailing out some of their cocktails, creating their own and allowing us to drink them in our own home, we were delighted! We both sampled three of their cocktails and want to talk about each one.
