Hermitage Rd. Bar and Restaurant | Review

After going out to the Lavender Field, we went to the Hemitage Rd. Bar and Restaurant! This place had some really quite upscale, lovely food and I am so glad Dann picked it out. I look forward to going back, as I really enjoyed the food that much. The boost upscale pizzas, steaks, ribs, burgers and more. We ended up getting two mains, a side to split, and were very full by the end of our meal.

Tim Hortons UK – Canada’s Favorite Coffee Place | Restaurant Review

Now, you may have heard that Canada’s favorite breakfast place has come to the UK, opening up a location in Harlow. Tim Hortons has coffee, breakfast sandwiches, wraps, lunch sandwiches, donuts, pancakes and more, on their current limited menu. At the moment, we have been to Tim Hortons way too many times – mainly because it’s nearby. A bit because its new and nearby, a bit because with lockdown, Dann and I haven’t been to anywhere new in ages, and a bit because we have been moving and it is nearby. We’ve actually sampled quite a bit of the menu.

A Day Out at Spooky Gudetama the Lazy Egg x Artbox Cafe & Boutique

If you frequent this blog (or my instagram) you may have noticed that we love the Artbox Cafe! We have been there for Pusheen and Gudetama, but when Gudetama got a spooky look (and spooky treats added to the menu) we had to go back down to Brighton to try out some of the new Halloween-themed treats! Along with their regular menu of delicious treats – ice creams, cheese cakes, soups, and sandwiches, there is a select dessert menu with a drink for the spooky Autumn season. If you were unable to attend this pop-up, consider this Cake shop online check out your favourite cake.

We, of course, tried both of these desserts, as well as the Pumpkin Spice latte, and had a lovely time! As always, Claire went along with us. Let’s get into it.

Wasabi Bilbao – Japanese Restaurant | Review

While in Bilbao, Spain, I had the opportunity to eat loads of traditional food from that area. Soon, I took a break to try some of my favorite food; Japanese. Nearby the Guggenheim Museum, there was a restaurant called Wasabi Bilbao- featuring a beautiful looking menu that I just couldn’t pass up. This, as it turns out, was a very good choice when it came to some very delicious food.

28-50 Wine Bar & Kitchen Fondue Festival | Review

Both Dann and Jupiter went to a Fondue Festival at the 28-50 Wine Bar & Kitchen, who do yearly Fondue Festivals in London. These take place each Tuesday through February, March and April. We’re not sure if Festival makes a lot of sense in this use, as it’s not really a Festival and more of a sit down dinner but only there for a limited amount of time. Dann really wanted to go, so we both grabbed up some tickets and figured we’d see what happens. Neither of us had been to 28-50 Wine Bar & Kitchen, nor had we had Fondue before, so it was an interesting time.

The first thing worth noting is that you are going to need to go to the Fondue Festival with a friend, as it’s a minimum of two people per fondue. The price is set at £34.95 per person, stacking as you add more people to it. The festival tickets include a set menu – we weren’t even shown a normal menu – which you get to eat from. The venue itself is very upscale, we were quite under dressed, and is a dark and moody place.
