Seeing Veronica Green in Cinderella at Centenary Theatre Berkhamsted

[Ad- gifted experience] We’ve seen Cinderella previously, but when it comes to pantos, it’s always a little bit different! Cinderella at Centenary Theatre Berkhamsted featured Rupaul’s Drag Race star Veronica Green – and as fans of the show, Dann and I were pretty excited to see her on stage along with the rest of the cast. Cinderella followed the classic fairy tale story, but of course, had lots of silly panto moments, more recent songs including one from Wicked, and a lot of fantastic dance numbers.

Christmas Characters Cupcake Class with Sweet Designs by Jennie

Amelia and I are always looking forward to the cupcake decorating classes by Sweet Designs by Jennie. These trails, we find, are ideal for children as there are tons of interactive moments and lots of good places to take pictures.

[Ad- gifted experience] Now, I have been to a number of pantos over the last two years, but I have not actually been to a panto with our children! I realized this on the way to Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs, though I am not sure how we’ve missed them previously! Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs are a classic, and this time we saw the panto at Fairfield Halls Theatre, which was a new theatre for our household.

Double Date at Illuminate Ipswich

We clearly go to a lot of light trails around the month of December, and every year we make an effort to go to one with our lovely friend Claire. This time she brought along her partner as a lovely double date, walking around the lights! We went to Illuminate Ipswich, which is a new light trail this year, so we haven’t been previously. We went midweek, at the end of the night, so there weren’t many people about either.
