Watching (This is not a) Happy Room at the King’s Head Theatre

[Ad- gifted experience] Dann and I were very excited to be visiting a new theatre – the King’s Head Theatre to be specific! This theatre is right by the pub of the same name, just around the corner really, and opens up to a box office, followed by a small bar. The theatre stage is down a few flights of stairs, in the basement, where it’s a C shaped seating with the stage at ground level, in front of you. This makes for a really intimate feel to the whole performance, especially as actors walk on and off stage by going through the seating.

The wreath cupcake courses have us decorating 10 cupcakes each, instead of 6, which is a lot of fun!

Exploring the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao

[Ad- gifted experience] Back in 2020, I visited the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, but as with any museum, a lot of the exhibitions have changed. The Guggenheim Museum is a beautiful building, both inside and out. The outside looks like scales of metal, with different statues and structures around the outside. At the front, there is a giant dog covered in flowers, at the back a large spider creature and a bunch of silver balls all stacked up on top of each other. Just going around the outside is beautiful. At the time that I went to the museum, there were a lot of fantastic exhibitions to take a look at as well.

Exploring Loch Ness on the Loch Ness Cruise

While staying in Fort Augustus at The Highland Club, Dann and I were right on the Loch Ness. If you somehow were unfamiliarly with Loch Ness specifically, it’s rumored to have a monster living in the lake, which has always been a really interesting myth. Hoping to learn more about Loch Ness and to see some beautiful views of the lake itself, we booked up the Loch Ness Cruise, which boarded right outside our accomidation.
