Museum of Senses – Unique, Playful Museum

I am a fan of strange or more interactive museums and lately we’ve been hitting them all. When deciding what to do for our day, Dann picked out the Museum of Senses, which was a really fantastic choice. This is a great place for fun-loving adults or kids alike. We went in early afternoon, on a Monday, so had the whole place to ourselves, which was a nice bonus. My feet were pretty tired from walking everywhere, so the idea that we were going to take them off and wear the socks felt very fun! The ticket price does not include their special socks, which are an extra 3 Euros, just as a warning.

Smoke and Fire Festival Ascot – Great Food and Music

[Ad- gifted experience] Last year, we went to the Smoke and Fire Festival in Maldon, which was such a fun vibe! Afternoon Painting at The Potty Painting Studio

Whenever Amelia has a day off of school without her siblings, she asks to go pottery painting! There are three really large hotels on the bay, which have all been abandoned after being shot up during the war in 1991. They have been left to rot and rust, some of which have serious fire damage, and many of which have graffiti.

Enchanted Garden at Harlow Museum

The Harlow Museum and Walled Gardens has been hosting more and more events, especially as we head into the summer season! One of their most interesting event to us was the Enchanted Garden, as it looked like something Robin would very much enjoy. We have previously been to the Harlow Museum, though many years ago, but are trying to do more local activities as more events seem to be popping up. The Enchanted Garden event seemed to be aimed at younger children, so Kai was a little out of place, where as Amelia likes to participate and Robin was well interested and into things. I can see this also being great for children younger than Robin too.
