Decorating for The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee with Little Brian

AD – the items in this review were gifted to our household for this post. All opinions, as always, are our own.

The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee is coming up, and we’ve been quite excited about this huge event! As an American living in England, the kids have told me all about the Queen’s Jubilee, how long she has been queen, and all things queen related. We then made some cute pictures and art with Little Brian paint sticks and did some face painting decorations, to get ready to celebrate. Little Brian is also doing a competition, where you can make decorations with your child using Little Brian Paint Sticks, and upload your image, for a chance to win a huge bundle of goodies.

Easter Crafting with Plasticine

*AD – the items in this review were gifted to our household for this post. All opinions, as always, are our own.

Salt Dough Ornaments | Crafts

This year, we wanted to make some of our own ornaments to go on the tree. After tackling some of the crafts from our Wild & Willow box, Jupiter had the idea to make some salt dough ornaments – and it turns out they are pretty simple and easy to make. The kids each made their own, using a bunch of different cookie cutters, and Jupiter made one of the classic handprint ornaments with Pancake’s hand! It came out pretty nicely.

DIY Christmas Jumper | Crafts

As Christmas Jumper Day (today) rapidly approached, we found ourselves searching online and looking from store to store for Christmas jumpers that would be just perfect for Robin and Amelia. Kai was already sorted with a very keen Xbox jumper. The two girls had a lot of wishes for their perfect sweater, and we had said they could be as particular as they wished. In the end we ended up finding a Santa-themed sweater dress that Amelia loved, but when asked if she wanted to make their own, both her and Robin fell in love with the idea. They kept mentioning making their own instead, so we decided to go forward and do just that.

Halloween Door Decoration with Font Bundles

*AD/Collaboration, but as always, all views are my own.

We love Halloween! When it comes to decorations, we spend a lot of time decorating our house, from top to bottom. This year, we have tasked with doing the front door thanks to Font Bundles! We wanted to do something quite classy and that made sense for our household, so we went with the bat theme! Making your own door decorations isn’t a challenging task and can be done with just a few steps, really! Despite how easy it is to make, there is a big impact when you see so many little bats and words across the door!
