[Ad- gifted experience] Dann and I do love a romantic dinner out, and the six course tasking menu at London Steakhouse Company, by Marco Pierre White, is a fantastic, intimate, date spot perfect for Valentine’s Day. Dann and I have previously been to one of Marco Pierre White’s other restaurants, which had a more casual approach, so we were excited to try out this one as well. There was a doorman who took our coat, hung it up, and then we got seated. Their 6 course meal had a menu with a few set items and some items to choose from – and we also selected things from the cocktail menu. Now, it’s worth mentioning that the lighting here was quite dim, moody, and romantic. So, it was a touch challenging to actually take pictures, but we did very much enjoy our evening together.
First and Second Courses

The first and second bites of the evening were a part of the set menu and did not come with a choice – we got a smoked salmon blini, with creme fraiche and capers and a beetroot and goat’s cheese salad! I am not a huge salmon fan, but this little bite was very good. Dann said that the creme was well seasoned. I loved the beetroot salad – the beets were thinly sliced, slightly pickled, and everything was very flavorful.
Third Course

Four our third course, there were a bunch of options! I went with the roasted bone marrow with parsley and shallot salad, which also came with crusty bread. There was plenty of bone marrow in the middle of the bone and the sort of salad on top was very oily and delicious. Garlic-y. It all feels so fancy! Dann went with the mackerel and watercress pate with toasted sourdough. He said that there was a generous amount of pate and it was very well seasoned.
Fourth Course

Dann and I are sort of the same person when it comes to food. We both picked the beef Bourgoin and then got a mustard green salad to go with it. There was plenty of the beef Bourgoin, which was very tender and delicious! It came with some creamy mash potato, which fit well with the sort of sauce over the meat. The mustard green salad was very interesting – it had a deeply, rich, mustard flavor and was very well dressed!
Fifth and Six Course

Dann and I both selected the lemon posset for our dessert, which was very lemon-first. There was a good amount of tang and the fruit compote at the top cut through that lemon well. The last course is a coffee and some ginger cookie things. I wasn’t the biggest fan of these ginger things as they were really hard – and I do not drink coffee – but Dann enjoyed both.
Drinks

They do have a large cocktail menu at London Steakhouse Company by Marco Pierre White, so Dann and I each got a cocktail. We both enjoyed our drinks (and coffee, and water) as they both were very well made. The staff at this restaurant was very attentive (maybe too attentive for the vibes of the place) but we had a very good time. At the end of the meal, both Dann and I were very full and satisfied! London Steakhouse Company by Marco Pierre White makes for a great romantic dinner!

Wow, six courses! This is a very impressive meal. I don’t know that I have had something this fancy when it comes to meals. I’ve never had anything like the bone marrow dish either. Looks interesting and delicious!
Choosing a bone marrow dish for a third course makes for a memorable dining experience. Having a tender beef main with creamy mash always satisfies during a fancy night out in the city.
I have often wondered about these six course meals. I have to say forget all the other courses the main looked and sounded amazing
Holy moly! That all looks so good. This is what I call a full meal. Such a great date night idea, too.
I have never had Beef Bourgoin before but I hear its mouth watering. I would love to try out a restaurant like this.
omg that roasted bone marrow, omg….I am craving it now. What an amazing meal and a wonderful experience, love it. Thank you so much for sharing.
I do love a Marco Pierre white restaurant, we’ve been to some before, but we’ve never had a tasting menu like this. While the food all looks great my husband is quite fussy so we’d probably be better off going a la carte, even though we’d probably both order the beef dish! x
