[Ad – Gifted Products] I am starting off this review by explaining that we aren’t a house that has toy guys. Pretty early on, both Dann and I agreed that none of our children would have gun toys – we don’t do water guns or Nerf guns, or any of the sort. They just aren’t a type of toy that we have. With that in mind, when the Pop Blast appeared from Wicked Uncle, we both felt it was far away from a gun (and that Robin was old enough to understand) so we went ahead and decided to check it out.

The Pop Blast is an air-powered, pump-action blaster that can launch 12 balls up to 30 metres. This is a really fun outdoor toy! We got two of them, so Robin and her bestie went to a nearby field and started blasting about, hitting the tree, blasting straight up in the air, and trying to launch these balls at each other. It’s a fairly easy blaster to use, just needing to pump it, though there was a bit of teething pains as the more of the balls that are inside, the easier it is to blast. When it’s lower on yellow balls, you do need to pump it with more force!

With that in mind, both Robin and her friend had no troubles using the Pop Blast after they realized! They each come with 12 balls, which are plenty to blast out. We really liked that they were so neon in color, so it’s easy to see them among the grass and in the trees – they don’t get lost. The balls themselves are soft, so don’t harm anything when done inside the house or when they hit other humans, as they weren’t going at a speed that could harm anything. This is a big plus to us, because it meant that there were no accidental tears. I can see the Pop Blast being a fun indoor and outdoor toy, perfect for the summer!

This looks like a toy which all age groups of children would enjoy
The smiles on the children’s faces tells me all I need to know about this fabulous toy! The neon yellow colour is very appealing and so is the fact that the balls are soft enough not to hurt children or pets. Love it!
