This is a pocket-sized coloring book, that can be easily placed into purses, bags, and even in the cupholder of your car, ready to be an activity when you’re out and about for the summertime. I can even see this mini coloring book coming out when waiting for food at restaurants. We’ve brought our Summer Fun Mini Coloring Book, along with a pack of crayons, with us on a few adventures! It makes for a good break from screens and often is something that Robin enjoys pulling out on her own, especially when in the car or in the sun.
The designs in this coloring book are quite simple and all of them are themed around summer! Instead of being something big and intricate, they are all more simplistic designs that just feel like summer; underwater diving, lemonade, beach bags on the sand… it’s just the simple little things that remind us of summer. Robin quite enjoyed how fast she could color up her book, adding in lots of designs as she went, which was lovely to see. She also found herself coloring in these pictures and then cutting them out, using tape to paste them into her diary, which is such a fun use of them – creating little summer days through the pictures along side her diary entries.
