When looking for a place to eat, my cousin suggested Sunnyside Par 3, as he had eaten there before. This is a sort of casual eatery, with golf both inside and outside. We were not there for the golf and were there, instead, for some pizza and snacks! They also do burgers and the like, so it’s a good time if you like party food.
Buffalo Chicken Pizza
Both my cousin and I got buffalo chicken pizza. There are tons of different options for this when it comes to the pizza; you can pick your mild, medium, hot or BBQ sauce base, and then fried or grilled chicken on top. I picked medium and he picked mild. These were the sauces on the pizza, with lots of cheese on top. We both also got crispy chicken, which were deep fried and crunchy. The pizza themselves were cooked on a slightly thicker crust, as it was clearly baked inside a pan, making the edges crispy.
Mozzarella Sticks and Fried Green Beans
My other cousin wanted to get some mozzarella sticks for the table, which come with a thick marinara dip. These were average mozzarella sticks – cheese deep fried, without any seasoning or the like. The dip was good, though I prefer it to be more warm. The fried green beans was the real star! These green beans still had a nice texture to them, they were clearly not canned, and the seasoning was very good. They had a homemade ranch on the side, which was pretty decent too.
Build your own Burger and Drinks
My cousin who got the mozzarella sticks also got a build your own burger at Sunnyside Par 3, which she said was very good. This came with fries of course! There are lots of topping options, so you can really customise your own burger here. I also got some of the cocktails, including the watermelon jolly rancher, which was fantastic. They change their cocktail menu and have specials often, by the sounds of things.
We enjoyed our time sitting out in the sun by the golf course at Sunnyside Par 3. They do have plenty of indoor seating, indoor virtual golf, and even a restaurant dog that was hanging around, enjoying the cool air inside.
