We have seen the Harlow Ballet preform at Harlow Playhouse previously, as this is something Amelia really loves to attend. Her bestie actually is a member of this group, so she had been quite excited for some time, hearing about their rehearsals. So, on the day they showcased, Robin, Amelia, Dann and I all headed to see the Harlow Ballet preform Cinderella at Harlow Playhouse.

We are a household that loves trying new things! Previously, we had run into Caine’s Pizza at the Potter Street Fete, but had tried it at the Harlow Street Art Festival, where we were told about the pop-up restaurant that they have started hosting at Mayfield Farm, every Friday. Dann and I tried some of the pizzas at the street art festival and decided we just must go to the pop-up with our entire family, to see how it all is.

Last Easter holiday, we spent a lot of time at Easter Trails in Essex. This time, we wanted to do some fun activities that were Easter themed, but not trails out and about. So, we went along to the Lush Chelmsford Easter Party! They actually do a bunch of different party events throughout the year. We have seen a few of them and know people that went to them, but have never ended up booking up one for ourselves. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, but everyone was in good spirits to try something new – even Kai, the most teenager of the bunch.

[Ad- gifted experience]Â We’ve been to quite a few of the events at Hatter’s Farm, primarily checking out their pumpkin patch and their confetti fields! Hatter’s Farm is a local farm to us that is always changing with the seasons and putting on fun events. This year, they’ve added the Tulip Festival at Hatter’s Farm, which feels absolutely perfect for the springtime. We all went along to take pictures of the beautiful flowers and learn more about tulips.
Every month Amelia and I go to Sweet Designs by Jennie‘s cupcake class, often going to one of the newer designs! Jennie creates new designs monthly, with so many different ones to choose from. Amelia and I always have a fantastic time creating cupcakes, chatting with others, and learning new decorating techniques. As always, we showed up for our class and all of the cakes were already baked. Our fondant was set out, along with tons of tools, and we got right to it!
