[Ad – Gifted Products] It is Yoto Originals Week, which is a week where Yoto is putting out new Originals for their essentially screen-free device that keeps children entertained. They are also heavily discounting a bunch of their Yoto Originals, along with a bunch of other little bonuses happening! If you are new to Yoto, one of the best packs to start with is the Starter Pack for Big Kids (there is a starter pack for younger ones as well, but this is the one that fits in Robin’s age group).

The Starter Pack for Big Kids has six different cards to start off your Yoto journey. For those who are unfamiliarly, Yoto is a small, portable speaker-like device that you can place cards into. These cards then allow the Yoto to play games, read stories, play music (like KPop Demon Hunters) and more. It’s very easy to use and there is only a tiny screen on it, which often shows an image to let you know where you are in the story or game. It also has two nobs that work as buttons on the front, for interaction.

The different cards in the Starter Pack for Big Kids covers a bunch of different topics and works well as an introduction into what the Yoto can do. One of the cards has a recipe for banana pancakes, that walks children through step-by-step instructions, including ingredients, to make 10 pancakes in roughly 25 minutes. Another card, Flags of the World, teaches children about 50 flags from all over the world through a bunch of interactive quizzes, using the screen to show off pictures of them as well.

Following the Quiz theme, there is a Yoto Daily Quizzes, that encourages little ones and their family members to take on a 12 quizzes that have a variety of different knowledge from books to science. This is particularly fun as it’s a daily quiz, with a different quiz to start off or end each day, so it becomes part of your routine. 3, 2, 1 Beatbox was Robin’s favorite card from this pack, which teaches you how to beatbox and make music with your mouth. It’s also a rather silly one at first! 5-Minute Stories: In the Wild are also a cute and fun to keep younger ones entertained, as the stories themselves are short but interesting, each following a different animal through their own world.
Now is a great time to get your Yoto Starter Pack for Big Kids as Yoto is having a sale on all of their originals.
