Sam Wu is NOT afraid of Ghosts at the Polka Theatre

[Ad- gifted experience] We were delighted to be invited back to the Polka Theatre, especially as Robin loves this place so much! If you aren’t aware, they have a massive rom for younger kids, which has costumes, a reading corner, coloring, block building on a magnetic board and other toys to play around with. This time, due to the lovely weather, the outdoor play park was also open, however we were pretty busy on the day and didn’t stick around to play this time. We did, however, have a fantastic time watching Sam Wu is NOT afraid of Ghosts.

The Colour of Dinosaurs at the Polka Theatre

[Ad- gifted experience] If you are a regular reader of our blog, you’ll know that we adore the Polka Theatre. This theatre is far more than a place to watch performances; there is a reading area, a building block area, a dress up area, and outdoor area – it’s ideal for taking toddlers! We’ve been going to the Polka Theatre since Robin was a toddler and she still enjoys the magic of going back. This time, we went along to see The Colour of Dinosaurs – a play that’s heavily music themed, including a real palaeontologist that had actually discovered what color dinosaurs are!

The Snow Queen at the Polka Theatre

[Ad- gifted experience] The Polka Theatre is our favorite children’s theatre to attend! We’ve been there quite a few times over the years – and it’s really designed with little ones in mind. There is a dress up area, a bunch of toys, and a reading area while you are waiting for your show to start. There is also an outdoor play area enclosed, and a cafe. We’ve loved exploring this area over the years and feel it really creates such a great atmosphere and makes this theatre feel like a community hub!

A Day Out at The Lost Spells at the Polka Theatre

[Ad- gifted experience] Once again, we found ourselves at The Polka Theatre – a lovely, child focused theatre with a large play area. This play area has dress up, building block area, books to read, coloring and a café, making it a really nice place to bring those who are younger! We do love playing in the play area of this theatre, but as I have previously spoken highly of the wonderful play area, we are going to dive right into the play that we’ve seen this time; The Lost Spells.

A Day Out at Jack V Giant at the Polka Theatre

[Ad- gifted experience] The Polka Theatre is one that always sticks in my mind as such a wonderful hub for children to play, explore and test boundaries! You see, the theatre itself is quite large, with a few different dedicated spaces for children. There is a dress up area, books that are free to read, colouring, and a magnetic building block wall in one room. An outdoor, treehouse inspired play house encourages outdoor play. There is a cafe, with chalk boards, to keep children busy while adults enjoy a meal or coffee. Even the hallways are full of colourful works of art and interesting displays that are fun to look at! The whole place just feels like it was designed for children!
