Lockdown rules and restrictions have been lifting steadily in the UK. My COVID vacine is booked for tomorrow and it is feeling like after nearly two years of lockdown we are going to actually see the end of it. Everyone has had different reactions to the end of lockdown – there have been so many changes to the way various places run and even to the way people think and interact with each other. I hadn’t hugged anyone outside of the people living with me in a year. It’s been a while ride, but as we are looking forward to the end, I wanted to see how other people were feeling at the end of lockdown. I have created a little tag to reflect and share my thoughts, especially as I didn’t participate in the weekly feelings and thoughts about COVID.

Our thoughts on HelloFresh after a week of meals | Review
I don’t know about you, but HelloFresh is always advertising itself to me. It’s on my Youtube and Facebook ads, telling me how much easier my life would be if I just purchase the meals. Our friend Becky always has HelloFresh meals, and sometimes gets codes to share with her friends, which gives the new signup a 5 day trail, where you can get dinner for two people, for each day. Taking a look at GirlTalk Magazine | Review
[Ad- gifted product] Whenever I look at the magazine section at Tesco, I feel overwhelmed with toys, colors and unsure of what exactly I am looking at. Many magazines have toys attached to them, when they are aimed at children, and it’s always got me wondering if the magazines themselves are well worth it, beyond the toys? When it comes to GirlTalk, I was curious how Amelia and Robin would both react to the magazine itself, as young girls who don’t have the biggest grip on pop-culture.

My Summer Affirmations
[Ad- collab] Summer is here, at least in the UK. It’s been warm, the beaches are filled with people, and we have all been itching to get out in the sun. After a year of not really seeing anyone, I’ve felt a lot of social anxiety to being suddenly around loads of humans. As the summer is full of opportunity, we have been focusing on getting out regardless and working through any sort of fear when it comes with getting out and about. If you are someone new to affirmations, they are short phrases or sayings that you can focus on, to motivate you and remind you of your goals.
Keeping dry with a Towel Robe from Halocline
[Ad- gifted product] Towel Robes might seem like a pretty silly thing to have – to be honest. When I had first heard of them, I thought they were a bit strange – a whole towel poncho that you can wear over your swimsuit or wet body to keep dry. That was until Robin asked for a ladybug themed towel robe from our local pool, and we said yes. It turns out, towel robes are really convenient, easy and are always a great size! Our local swimming pool does not have adult sized towel robes, but Halocline does.
