I think there is something so much fun about themed dinners! We love having a bit of fun with presentation, especially around the holiday seasons. Halloween does get a little repetitive with the dinner ideas that I find on the internet, as they are primarily a lot of party food. So, this year, I have put together my own list of Halloween Dinner Ideas that are actual dinners, not just party food, to feed a family. We do have our best Halloween Lunchbox ideas and a list of Easy Spooky Halloween Treats, if you are looking for more inspo.

Live Music at Hitchin Priory Summer Sessions
Dann and I have been going to more and more music festivals and food festivals that feature music in the last few years. One band that I have always wanted to see live is The Wombats, which are my current favorite. Dann is a big fan of Razorlight, so when the Hitchin Priory Summer Sessions listed a day with both Razorlight and The Wombats, there was no way we weren’t going to go. This three day long festival had different bands each day, but we went on the Saturday, which had the bands we were interested in. Dann and I invited our two friends, as a sort of double date, and headed off for the afternoon.

Beaker Creatures Skull Mountain Volcano – Mystery Monsters
[Ad- gifted product] Robin is a huge fan of small figures, creatures, and blind boxes. This made the concept of Beaker Creatures fantastic for her, especially with their Beaker Creatures Reactor Pods and their Beaker Creatures Skull Mountain Volcano. These toys are aimed at children who are interested in science and learning, which is an interesting way to build more of an understanding of science.

Eating and Listening to Music in Food Society
It may be pretty obvious, based on how often Dann and I eat out, that we absolutely love food. It may be less obvious that Dann also loves pinball machines, so when we saw a food hall that actually had a bunch of pinball machines at the back, we had to check it out. Food Society is a casual place to eat, right by where we were staying in Paris, that also had a small pinball arcade in it, along with a larger arcade / bowling venue downstairs – giving the place a fun mall vibe.
Food Society had digital menus that you could order and pay off of, which would then send the order to the various different kitchens throughout the venue. You did need to go and pick up your food, which was a bit confusing as neither of us spoke French, but we did manage to order far too much, try lots of things, and enjoy a huge lunch with some live music playing in the background!

Jumping at Inflata City
Ever since Jump Giants have closed, Robin has been hoping for a new place that just vibes like that. One of the other parents ate school messaged me about Inflata City, which she had a fantastic time at, so we were excited to head there as well and see what it was like. Inflata City is a huge inflation place, with a lot of different areas to explore around. Kai and Amelia can with Dann, Robin and I, though Robin is at the end of the age group for this type of place. Kai and Amelia are into exploring, so we did have a lot of fun!
