[Ad- gifted product] Dann and I travel a lot. There is something about exploring new places, enjoying new food, and just doing new things that always has captivated me. I want to do everything and experience everywhere, which is why we often plan trips and take advantage of the extra day we have set up around a work event. Often we travel so much that we lose track of where we have been and what we’ve done, which is part of the reason why I write about so many of our experiences. We do have a giant scratch off map, where we scratch off the places we’ve been together, but having something smaller that we can carry around is such an inviting idea. That’s where Joruneys Made came in.

Lunch out at Belle Vie Cafe
Dann and I wanted to go out to lunch, so we decided to check out Belle Vie Cafe, which is right by the local train station! Belle Vie Cafe has a breakfast menu with tons of options, as well as sandwiches, burgers, a small kids menu and a handful of things under the ‘mains’ section as well. Dann and I were looking for a smaller lunch, so Dann went for a breakfast, I went for a mains, and we got some drinks and mozzarella sticks as well.

Soggy Doggy – Silly and Wet board game!
[Ad- gifted product] When it comes to silly board games and toys, John Adams has a fantastic range. Recently, the sun has been shining and it feels like the perfect time to play a little game that might actually get things a bit wet! Soggy Doggy is a very simple game where you have a little floppy dog inside a bathtub, with a board along the outside. Thankfully, this board is made of plastic and can get wet, as the doggy does shake off tons of water everywhere.

Two Fish Tunnels at the Aquarium of the Bay
Going to aquariums is one of those things both Dann and I really enjoy! There is just something about exploring the creatures that live underwater and seeing what they look like close up. The Aquarium of the Bay is located on Pier 39, right at the end, and is one we have passed by a few times in previous years. This year, however, Dann booked up tickets excited to walk through the area. The aquarium is across several floors, creating a real experience of walking around.

Dinner at The Brickhouse Bar and Grill with my uncle!
While in San Francisco, we got stuck for a few extra days, which was a whole ordeal. But, due to this extra time, Dann and I actually got to meet up with my uncle Bekket and his partner, for a meal out. Bekket picked The Brickhouse Bar and Grill primarily because the food looked good and it was dog friendly, as they brought their little dog. The place itself was very small-town-bar-and-grill feeling, with smaller-sized booths, sports on TV, and lots of decorations.
