Seeing the Animals at Port Lympne Safari Park

[Ad- gifted experience] One of our goals this year was to see more animals! This was something Robin had picked as a New Years goal, so we wanted to go out to something over the summer holiday that had a bunch of animals. Port Lympne Safari Park not only had tons of animals to look at, but also had a safari trip that allowed us to learn and see so many more animals out in large spaces, so we were very excited to head along! This place is absolutely massive, we were in no way able to explore it all on the day we went, so it’s well worth checking out the map and deciding where you want to go. We skipped out on the Dino Walk, due to wanting to focus on animals, and did prioritize monkeys as they were the most exciting thing for us all. There are also feeding times listed at the entrance, if you want to watch an animal feeding.

Our Family’s Favorite Soups for Autumn

If you have seen any of our midweek meal inspo posts, you’ll know that we all eat a variety of foods each and every week. As it’s fall time, we have been on a bit of a soup kick. There are so many delicious soups out there and they always feel so fun for autumn. With that in mind, we have tried so many different soups, and have a bunch of favorites that we want to share with you. These soups are kid friendly and great to make ahead and store in the freezer. Most of them could have pasta added too, if you’d like, though some of them are perfect without it.

Watching Bedroom Farce at the Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch

[Ad- gifted experience] Dann and I absolutely love the Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch. It’s just got great vibes and always has a fantastic catalogue of performances. They do have a bar inside, a little cafe, and a stage where you can take your picture. This time, we were invited along to watch Bedroom Farce, which is a comedy about four sets of couples, all exploring their different relationships through a very long day and night.

Junior Colourbrain – Questions about Colors

[Ad- gifted product] We are always looking for more family games to play together, especially when on holiday. This year, during our weekend away at Waxham Sands, we took along Junior Colourbrain. This is a card based game that’s quite small, so easy to pack and take with you anywhere. The game itself is two player or divide everyone into teams of two. The concept its very simple and the amount of cards you do need to play with aren’t too many, making it ideal for on the go gameplay.

Things to know before getting a septum piercing

[Updated on September 3rd, 2024, to add more information] On May 18th, 2019, I finally took the dive and got my septum piercing done. I had been thinking about getting my nose pierced for years and years, but I felt it was a big commitment. As someone who travels so much, I didn’t want to deal with aftercare while in another country, but May seemed like a great time with not many events in the horizons. Before getting a septum piercing, I did do some research and read loads of posts about this specific nose ring, but I do feel that there were many aspects that just were not touched on.
