That’s why, we often gravitate towards mythical creatures when we are reading story books! Stanley the Dragon is a story about a dragon – with some beautiful illustrations to accompany the book – so it didn’t take long for the children to notice and select it from our reading pile!

4 of the Best Halloween Children’s Book

We love reading stories in our household. Each and every night, our children sit down and listen to a bedtime story that they pick out. I often look to match the books with seasons, to make things more interesting and to add to our own collection of reading books! As Halloween is happening in the month of October, I always pick up an extra two or three books for the year, so that they have new books to read and to enjoy with the season! The Moon Almanac – Moon Guide to the Lunar Year

[Ad- gifted product] The moon, hanging up in the sky, is often something more talked about during the autumn months. I always have an interested in space, the moon, stars, and everything astrological – I guess it comes with the name. So, when I saw The Moon Almanac, I became pretty excited to learn about the moon! The book itself is really beautiful, with a dark blue color and lots of halo, rainbow highlights to the words and designs on the book.

The Garden of Uncle Tim teaches children about gardening

[Ad- gifted product] When it comes to stories, we tend to read many, many different stories each and every night. Robin, Amelia and Kai (even Kai!) are still interested in bedtime stories, so we are always willing to try out new ones and see what the kids think. Both Robin and Amelia have planted plans before – they have a few growing in pots in the back garden right now, so The Garden of Uncle Tim seemed like a perfect match.
