[Ad- gifted product] Unicorns, dragons and other mythical creatures often come up in our home. Robin and Amelia love talking about fantasy characters and creatures, who seem so real but far away. That’s why, we often gravitate towards mythical creatures when we are reading story books! Stanley the Dragon is a story about a dragon – with some beautiful illustrations to accompany the book – so it didn’t take long for the children to notice and select it from our reading pile!

4 of the Best Halloween Children’s Book

We love reading stories in our household. Each and every night, our children sit down and listen to a bedtime story that they pick out. I often look to match the books with seasons, to make things more interesting and to add to our own collection of reading books! As Halloween is happening in the month of October, I always pick up an extra two or three books for the year, so that they have new books to read and to enjoy with the season! Pretty Suds New Moon Bath Bomb Box 2021

When it comes to Halloween time, I really love the idea of having special Halloween bath bombs! I love themes and feel Halloween should leak into every aspect of my day to day life, including, of course, self care time. This year’s Pretty Suds bath bomb box has some really lovely bombs – all of them are so big and so good at fitting the spooky theme. Unlike some of Pretty Suds previous boxes, the New Moon box does not have names for their bombs, so I have made these up. Let’s get into the box.

The Moon Almanac – Moon Guide to the Lunar Year

[Ad- gifted product] The moon, hanging up in the sky, is often something more talked about during the autumn months. I always have an interested in space, the moon, stars, and everything astrological – I guess it comes with the name. So, when I saw The Moon Almanac, I became pretty excited to learn about the moon! The book itself is really beautiful, with a dark blue color and lots of halo, rainbow highlights to the words and designs on the book.
