Entertaining Little Ones on a Rainy Day with Wicked Uncle

[Ad- gifted products] The springtime in the United Kingdom is a mix of sunny days and rainy days, seemingly at random. We are a big adventure family, so as soon as parks make sense to go too, we do spend a lot of time outdoors. With that said, whenever it rains, we do have times indoors. Robin, the most adventurous of us, is one that is hard to entertain when it comes to sticking inside. Unlike her older siblings, she isn’t one to sit in front of the Xbox or a computer for very long, so we tend to have a few toys on hand for her to play around with! Wicked Uncle has so many great options, sorted by age, but here are two toys we love to play with on rainy days!

Getting Creative with BloPens Fantasy Set

[Ad- gifted product] When I was a child, I have a distinct memory of saving up money to get my own set of BloPens, from a TV infomercial. Both of these characters are extremely cool, with the Turbo Ice being based on an ice-cream motorcycle and the Pizzacopter being based on a pizza helicopter!

Celebrating Disney’s 100th Anniversary with their New Stuffed Toys!

[Ad- gifted products] Disney has been a name in everyone’s household, for so long! Long enough that we can actually put them into years – 100 years to be exact. Disney are celebrating this occasion with their new D100 Plush Collection, which reflects on the heritage of Disney and focuses on some of their older titles.

My youngest memory of Disney happens to be around Winnie the Pooh. When I was very young, I had a cassette player and a Winnie the Pooh cassette which told a story about Winnie the Pooh and on the flip side had a story about a soldier who found Winnie the Pooh, a black bear, and kept her as a sort of army pet. Winnie ended up living as a mascot to this troop, until one day he moved to. The idea of having a pet bear and this bear traveling throughout the world, was something I found super interesting and comforting.
