Geeky Date Night at The Dice Box King’s Lynn

While I was in King’s Lynn for a work event, Dann and I decided to check out the local area. We were recommended The Dice Box, which had recently opened in the area, and was actually running some sort of event night. We have our local Geek Retreat and have been to similar board game themed places like the Loading Bar in London, so wanted to check this out! The Dice Box is a franchise, like Geek Retreat, so there is a system to it and similar ones across the country have the same vibes.

Christmas at Kew Gardens – Art focused Light Trail

We are big fans of Wintertime Light Trails in our house! Kew Gardens always has tons of fantastic events on as well. We’ve been to their Halloween at Kew Gardens event and their Orchid Festival around Valentine’s Day, but wanted to see how their Wintertime Light Trail would be. This light trail is one of the more expensive ones, but also has Christmas in the name; Christmas at Kew Gardens. We then arrived for our timeslot, put our items in the free-to-use lockers, and waited in the lounge for our times. We were given some AMAZE tokens, which indicate which group you are in. It’s worth noting we went on a Wednesday morning, so the group sizes were on the small side.

Having Fun at London MCM Comic Con x EGX

[Ad- gifted experience] Every year, we go to London MCM Comic Con, and this year both Amelia and Kai had the day off of school, making it a fun event with the teens! MCM Comic Con has, in the last few years, added a gaming section called EGX, which features a bunch of games to go along with all of the different shops, stalls, and geeky things that Comic Con has to offer. This year, we went on both Friday with the teens and then Sunday just as Dann and I, to do some more shopping and explore some games.

Halloween Wreath Cupcake Class with Sweet Designs by Jennie

It’s spooky season, so it only makes sense that Sweet Designs by Jennie has a cupcake class perfect for a Halloween Party. Each month, Amelia and I go to these cupcake decorating classes as a bit of mother-daughter bonding. It’s been roughly a year since we started going, so we were hyped to see these Halloween Wreath designs, as wreaths are quickly becoming our favorite types of classes.
