Best Things to Include in a Nightly Wind-Down Bedtime Routine

Establishing a calming bedtime routine can be an absolute game-changer for a restful night’s sleep and overall well-being. Especially if you’re a busy bee, whether that’s due to family or your career. A planned-out nightly wind-down routine signals to the body and mind that it’s time to relax and prepare for restorative sleep. Everything from skincare rituals to relaxation techniques can help you achieve deeper sleep and enhance your overall sleep quality – and here are some ideas to get you started.

Skincare Rituals

Taking care of your skin before not only contributes to relaxation but also enhances your complexion – two birds with one stone, right away. Start by cleansing your face to remove makeup, dirt, and impurities that naturally accumulate throughout your day. A Day Out at Silence at the Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch

[Ad- gifted experience] Dann and I went along to see Silence at the Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch which is a powerful and emotional performance that features a collection of stories around the 1947 partition of India into West Pakistan and East Pakistan (now Bangladesh). These stories contain a lot of violence and trauma, which is why they often go untold, and these stories, coupled with not being taught in schools in Britain, have left a lot of this history to fade away. Silence has been adapted from Kavita Puri’s book Partition Voices: Untold British Stories.

The London Zoo had a giant Easter Egg trail on, spread around primarily the main area of the zoo (by the shops) but also had just so much to explore.
