Newton’s Lab Wind Energy Kit keeps teens busy

[Ad- gifted product] When it comes to keeping Kai, the basically teenager, busy during the summer holiday, he often does not want to play with any games or toys his younger siblings have. Maybe it’s an age thing, maybe it’s a being a boy thing, but either way, he’s a bit tricky to find things for him to do. With that said, Kai really loves science kits! A new, and more challenging science kit then he has previously come across has now made it’s way into our post box, called Newton’s Lab. We got the Newton’s Lab Wind Energy Kit, which has you creating a little house that lights up using wind power.

Coloring with Marvin’s Amazing Magic Pens

[Ad- gifted product] When it comes to coloring, Robin and Amelia are both little artists! They love experimenting with new crafting tools, from mess free paint pens to crafting with clay! Recently, we got our hands on Marvin’s Amazing Magic Pens, which are super interesting, color changing pens that can be used to color in a whole new way. The girls were really interested in them, especially as they are called Magic Pens.

Becoming a Spy with the Spy Ninjas New Recruit Mission Kit

[Ad- gifted product] Recently, we went to a spy mission escape room with the kids, who all really enjoyed it. So much so, that Kai has been talking about being a spy for the better half of the week. So, we got our hands on the Spy Ninjas New Recruit Mission Kit – which has a bunch of activities for those interested in being a spy! This kit came with loads of things including three main tools; a decoder, an invisible ink pen, and a listening device, as well as three activity booklets, an achievement award, an ID Card for the spy (which has Morse code decoder on the back), a red card used for spying hidden messages, a notebook for clues, and an envelope that says TOP SECRET.

KiwiCo Tinker Crate – Spin Art Machine | Review

[Ad- gifted product] In our continued mission to find the best subscription boxes for kids, we’ve given KiwiCo’s Tinker Crate a go, and the first box was fantastic. Subscription boxes have developed a lot over the years, I’m not sure exactly when they first became a thing – but I think most of us remember the magazine subscriptions that offered one book of a set of twenty, or a single dinosaur bone per issue. Somewhere along the line, somebody started a cool, activity subscription box, and the whole thing has blown up since.

We’ve dabbled with a lot of these subscription boxes over the last year, giving the kids some fun new ways to learn while homeschooling or in lockdown. We’ve shifted them too, trying to make sure that we don’t get too comfortable with any one in particular. KiwiCo’s Tinker Crate was the next one up for us, and – as it turns out – they’re really onto something.

The Best Christmas Gifts for Kids

[Ad- gifted products – Updated on November 4th, 2024 to add more gifts] When it comes to Christmas gifts, there are so many different and new toys out there. To make things a little easier, I have created another gift guide this year! This gift guide is full of toys and games that our household has enjoyed throughout the year. With a bigger focus on physical toys, instead of video games, it has been a good year for toys in our house.

Decora Girlz

Decora Girlz is a doll that feels ideal for those who are maximalists. These dolls have colorful hair, tons of accessories and just feel like so much more than other dolls. Robin is absolutely someone that loves playing with doll’s hair and loves wearing accessories herself, so she finds these dolls to be so fun! They have face stickers as well, so you can really decorate them.
